# Plan style

> The colours and line widths of the on-screen plan.

## Import

```typescript theme={null}
import { planStyle, PLAN_STYLE, DEFAULT_PLAN_STYLE } from '@opengeometry/floorkit';
```

## planStyle

```typescript theme={null}
function planStyle(ogType?: string): PlanStyle;
```

## PLAN\_STYLE

Keys are the literal `ElementType` values elements actually report, which is not always the name you would guess: a network `Wall` reports `WALL`, `Space` reports `SPACECONTAINER`, and every opening subclass — `Door`, `Window`, `WallOpening` — reports its own type or `OPENING`.

```typescript theme={null}
const PLAN_STYLE: Record<string, PlanStyle>;
```

## DEFAULT\_PLAN\_STYLE

```typescript theme={null}
const DEFAULT_PLAN_STYLE: PlanStyle;
```

## Types

### PlanStyle type

Drafting style for one source element type in the plan view.

```typescript theme={null}
interface PlanStyle {
  stroke: string;
  weight: number;
  poche?: string;
}
```

<ResponseField name="stroke" type="string" required>
  Ink (stroke) colour — overrides the element's 3D material colour.
</ResponseField>

<ResponseField name="weight" type="number" required>
  Screen-constant lineweight in px. Applied with `vector-effect: non-scaling-stroke` so weights stay
  crisp and zoom-independent — the hallmark of CAD drafting.
</ResponseField>

<ResponseField name="poche" type="string">
  Poché fill for cut solids (region primitives only); undefined = no fill.
</ResponseField>
