Exports - Floorkit

Your designs are not locked in. Floorkit gives you files in open formats, and each one is for a different reader.

PDF

A PDF contains your sheets as vector linework, one page for each sheet. See Export a PDF.

GLB

A GLB contains the 3D model in one binary file. Floorkit makes standard Three.js objects, so you export them with the Three.js exporter. See Export a GLB.

Project file

The project file is JSON text. It holds the building model, the views and the sheets. It is the only format that Floorkit opens again for editing. See Save and reopen. Because the file is typed JSON, your server can read it too. You can make a price list, an area report or a search index from it without a browser.

IFC and DXF

IFC export for building models and DXF export for drawings come in the next release. See IFC and DXF.

Export the saved state

An export uses the building model that you give it. Before an export, put the current model of your session into the project:

An exported file is a design document. Check it in your own workflow before you use it for a permit or for construction.
